 Theme Presentation 

Racism


            The first group to present was my group. Our theme to talk about was racism which is a very hard topic to get people to talk about , however I feel like my group did a great job getting peoples attention and also getting people to have conversations about what's happening not just now but something that has happened even in the passed . Even though its a hard topic to talk about for most people its also something people have to come together to fix because no matter how much we don't want it history dose repeat itself, if we don't stand up for the things that are affecting our world they are going to keep happening. Overall me and my group made a positive massage come across to everyone and made them understand why racism is not a good thing to do.



Education

         The second group to present talked about school and how the education in schools have changed over the years . for example they talked about how the schools were back years ago , when they didn't have any electronic things like computers etc.. for school things . education now in days is every different especially since we are going through a pandemic and kids can not be going to school so that they don't get infested with the virus . This group overall gave a great explanation about how schools are dealing with educations and ways that they should improve the education for students. 



The Pandemic/Health Care-Background

               The third group that presented talked about the pandemic and how things are being taking care of while we are going through Covid-19 . This was something that came out of nowhere and nobody was expecting to come , it was something that came so fast that we weren't ready for it but we all found a way to figure things out like said in the presentation .Once we started to see the way that this virus was affecting people we started to become more prepared and  ready for anything else to hit us. this group did great good explaining the outline for the pandemic and explaining on ways on how to stay save while out in the street and also telling us how different places are responding to this virus .

Reflection about chapter 3, 9 and 10

 Chapter 3: Intercultural Communication was an interesting chapter presented by Group 1, who did an amazing job. Intercultural Communication was about the definition of culture, all the different cultures that exists and how we can communicate with a person from a different culture. This chapter also teach us important aspects about communication, the seven dimensions in which cultures differ and strategies that we can use in order to communicate effectively. When we learn about a person from a different culture we expand our knowledge and our perspective to things and life. Furthermore, we learn that a person can be bicultural, many people in America culture may identify with one or more cultures.
